Camera resolution

On the Maxx, is there a way to turn down the resolutions? It has 8 mp and 6 mp wide screen. I use my phone to take pictures of damaged equipment and my boss is complaining that the picture file size is too big. Is there a fix or just use an older phone?

I don't know about changing it on the camera, but I was just playing in an app called QuickPic and you can lower the resolution there. Reduces the size of the pic.

Camera ICS application allows you to take pictures at lower resolution and different jpeg quality levels.
