can droid eris be on prepaid

hi my name is scotty and im new here i just bought a droid eris off of ebay i just want 2 know if it can be activited to a prepaid account cuz i have a prepaid account thank u

i dont think so mate ummmm i heard that you can flash it to another network adn then go prepaid but if you got the vzw htc eris then i am pretty sure you cant do prepaid!
