Can Droid Pro initiate a call from earpiece ?

My Droid original will not do this. It is a feature with which my previous dumb phones had no problem. I am considering the Droid Pro, but I would like to be able to reach up, touch my wired or wireless earpiece, and have it ask me for a command. Anyone know ? Thanks.

I imagine it can. Not sure why you were not abel to use a BT headset with your Droid. Were you abel to receive and answer calls via the headset?

I used both a BT and a wired earpiece. On the Droid, I can answer a call with it, but not originate a call.

I downloaded and installed Choice Dialer. It is half a$$ed at best.
Seems like this is about the only thing Driod Doesn't do.

Both my D1 and D2 worked (and work) with my BT headset and BlueAnt S4 -- 2.2 fixed most of the BT dialing issues. You should be fine with a Pro.

OP, what BT headset are you using? It should initiate a call with any froyo rom.

It was a Blue Ant bluetooth. I have not tried it since the last Android update, I will try to find it and try it. I prefer the wired one.
