Can I use my droid to connect my computer to mthe internet via 3G?

I was wondering if I can use my droid as an internet conection on my computer? I saw an add for another phone that can act as a wifi hot spot for computers. Or can I just get my droid screen to display on my computer via the usb cable?:icon_ banana:

For wifi tethering, you need to root and load a custom rom. For bluetooth or usb tethering, see pdanet on the market.

Get an app called "websharing" it works via wi-fi and works really well.

I can also work via cellular sharing if the cellular network supports it.. it doesn't where i'm at but I understand some parts of the country it works.
