Can I watch streaming video on HDTV via HDMI, or is dock needed?

More specifically, I want to watch NFL Mobile on my TV using my Razr Maxx. Do I need the docking station for that, or can I use an HDMI cable only??

I think you need the dock but I cannot confirm as I have never tried ..good luck!

My D4 can just use the cable. Watch netflix a lot. Any Hdmi capable display.

I've used just the cable for most things (netflix, web browsing while at home). I was looking at getting the NFL subscription since I no longer can watch Thursday night football, but it would not work on the TV for watching videos on the app when I tried last night. It gave me an error about an HDMI cable being connected. Are you sure this will work with NFL app? I was going to give it another try before I shell out the money for the subscription for the football season.
