If I've been rooted and unrooted now. (I flashed the original Moto ROM.)Can Motorola detects it? I'm concern about the warranty after I am unrooted. :motdroidhoriz:

All Verizon cares about is that your check clears every month.

Will Motorola repairs a ROOTED Droid?

I am pretty sure that this is after you are out of the picture. VZW replaces your Droid to you...then VZW deals with Motorola separately.

Take it into verizon and say that it just stopped working. I bricked my droid and took it in and they gave me a new one.

You might have been a special case, this would only work on a case by case basis because rooting technically voids your warranty.

the wording is "may void your warranty" i believe... not that it matters anyway :icon_ devil:

He was asking if they could detect having been rooted after you unroot, the answer is simply "No."

not to thread jack, but how do you brick your phone. If you have a backup isnt it able to be recovered

I bricked mine and took it back too :)

LOL I bricked mine a little bit ago, I took it in, the tech looked at it for a bit and said, "bricked it eh?" I just had to smile and he said, "keep this on the "DL" but I bricked mine a bit ago and just replaced it, let me get you a new one" :icon_ banana:LOL best tech ever. I've gone to see him multiple times since then.

I rooted mine, then later had to send it back to VZW for non-rooting issues. I went through the instructions provided on one of the threads on here to un-root. Worked just fine, sent it back, and no worries!
