Can not get calendar to sync past 1 month back.

I can not get the phone calendar to sync past 1 month back with all calendars, any ideas?
I copied an event to my default calendar in google and it showed up on my phone but under that default calendar only.
No other calendars are showing up on phones calendar except past one month except for the reaccuring ones each year.
