Can Touchdown permanently delete Exchange e-mail

When I use Outlook, Delete puts the highlighted message(s) in the Deleted Items folder and Shift-Delete deletes them. When I delete messages with Touchdown on my Droid, they all end up in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook which is now bursting! If there a way to make Touchdown really delete messages?

I just went through touchdown, and then went through the user manual. It doesn't appear we can do this.

Of course in the process of doing this, I noticed their website says they're up to version 5.1.0026, but I have 5.1.0028 installed. Things that make me go "Hmmmm..."
