Can you save your pix or text message pictures to droid?

I always get pix messages from my friends and family. But since I got my droid last Friday, I'm yet to figure out how to save the picture to my pix? Does anybody know how to do this? On all my past phones, you just hit menu and the "save pic".....easy as that. Thank you in advance.

Long press on the photo. There is a "Copy to SD Card" option.

Thank you for the help. I was trying to save the pic from an "open standpoint" instead of looking at it in the inbox....
