Can you turn on a Droid 2 from the slide out key board?

Hi, My lock/turn off&on button on the upper right on my droid 2 is pushed in, causing me not to be able to turn it on or off, is there a way to turn it on from the slide out key pad? Thanks

It may power on if you plug it in to the a/c charger. My D1 does.

Yeah, it does power on but only goes to the battery charging, and when i take it out, it shuts off again.

Plug into charger while holding X on the keyboard
Go to stock recovery
>reboot phone now

okay, I held the X down, now i got to a screen with a droid and an ! in a triangle. it wont do anything else

Once you get to the triangle, hit the search button on the keyboard. This will open up the options.
