Canceling Global Dialing

Any idea how to cancel the automatic adding of +1 to dialed contacts when in global mode?

I just got a droid pro being that it's a global phone and I can take it with me on business, but now I am overseas and when dialing local numbers the phone automatically directs them to the US by adding +1 Any idea how to cancel this feature?

Go to settings, call settings, assisted dialing and turn off assisted dialing and see if that helps..
