Cannot determine location icon

I keep getting an icon in my status bar saying "cannot determine location" on my phone. I have to manually clear it. Anyone else have this re occuring problem.

I am having the same problem since I got the update. I also have just been manually clearing it.

Just a guess here but does the notification appear after you've used the stock browser? And if so, do you have the "location" enabled? If you do, when you go to the google search home page in the stock browser it will try to determine your location. You can turn off this functionality with a menu selection.

Just curious, my friend showed me this icon on his Lg Vortex and I was wondering how to remove it and if it was draining his battery by running all the time?!
