Hey everyone,

the app "acar" got stuck updating for me the other day. Now it's stuck in the "downloading..." section. If I try to hit cancel the download, it causes the Market to crash. I also uninstalled the app, but it still continues to try and download.

anyone have any idea for something I could try?

Yeah, that's my "go to" fix. It helps with gmail issues, contact issues, calendar issues, and market issues...maybe other stuff too.

I'm having the same problem with astrid. I've tried the clear cache option and then restarted the phone but that didn't help. Any other ideas? I'm getting desperate. It shouldn't make much difference, but my phone is a nexus one if that matters.

Figured out how to fix my problem. By long pressing on the app that is stuck downloading (instead of just clicking on it) it brings up a menu with several options. One of them is cancel, which worked without force closing the market the way the normal cancel did.
