Can't change pulldown text

I tried changing the pulldown text using the toolbox and customizer and after I rebooted, it shows nothing now where the text should be. Its just completely blank. I've tried to do it again multiple times and the same thing happens. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Mine went away when I flashed oreo slice theme. Are you on any themes?

i had the same problem. then I tried it without any spaces. seems to work for me.
