Can't delete read only contacts??? Really

Hey reconrican here new to this forum recently purchased Droid Razr HD, love my phone, still navigating thru unchartered waters, will greatly appreciate any and all assistance and feedback. Thanx from Puerto Rico. p.s. my phone says I can't "delete read only contacts"??? That can't be right.

What are they considering "read only" contacts? Are they contacts added by your carrier (like to get in touch with them for customer service, etc)?

Hey smalltowngirl13 thanx in advance, btw, great win tonite for KC/Reid. No these are personal contacts I generated and one in particular I duplicated with phone number inverted and recently in haste I keep calling the wrong number and this person while very tolerant and polite is understandingly annoyed. Gracias.
