cant download or send pics

for some reason i cant send or also download pics when someone sends them to me..last time i had to restore my phone and it worked then, but i had to restore it to its original factory settings.....i am rooted and have ud1.0.0..any ideas of what i can try or do..texts go through fine

I can recieve pics, but when I sent it, it says "national service coverage unavailable" or somethinig like that. It's annoying, but not to the point I want to factory reset and start everything over. Especially when I am not 100% sure that's the fix...
