cant find the recovery-from-boot.p

to keep clockwork permanent. i was told i need to delete that or change the name but its not where its supposed to be. any ideas

It may have gotten deleted. It should be in System. Just scroll down to the bottom of the list. Assuming it's there, and you are using Root Explorer, press the R/W button at the top left of the page, long press the recovery-from-boot.p file and select rename. Change the name to recovery-from-boot-.p.old.

If it's really not there, try booting into CWM. If you get the Android with the Exclamation Point, pull battery and reboot. If it boots into CWM, you are good.

i can boot to CWM, but only from rom manager. i cant do it by holding volume and power like i should. could this be happening because i unlocked the bootloader or rooted wrong?
