can't play mp3 after phone update

After a phone update when I choose any music in the music player it says it can not play that file type. Help?

Start small, try rebooting. Try playing a file on the sd card with your computer to make sure they didn't get corrupted somehow. Try killing or removing any other apps that might be interfering such as other music players.
