I am having a tough time rooting my phone. I have the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G. Model number SHG-T959V, Firmware version 2.2.1, Baseband version T959VUVKB5, Kernel Version 2.6.32.9, Build number FROYO.VUVKB5. I have not been able to find any videos or articles on your site, XDA Developers, Adroid Forums or others about how to root this particular phone. I am able to mount the SD card using Samsungs PC Studio. However I am unable to mount my phone in usb debugging mode so that I can root my phone. I am running Windows 7 64bit on my HP laptop. Can any one tell me what I need to do? I have downloaded usb drivers from different sources and am satisfied that I have the right ones because windows says that I already have them installed when I try to install drivers that I downloaded from a different site including yours. I was unable to find the root package for my phones build either. What do I do?
