Can't send texts to one person

Hello I have a samsung a20 and am having trouble sending texts to one of my contacts. I can receive calls and texts from this person and can make calls to this person but when I try sending a text to this number from my residence it is not received on his end but looks like it has been sent on my end. I have tried sending texts to this person when I am closeby and the texts are received. Anybody have any ideas of what the problem could be.? Thanks

Hello welcome to the forum.. That's very weird. What kind of phone does the other person have? I'm assuming you're using the samsung text app.. have you tried another texting app and see if it goes through?
