Cant Sync my phone?

I have the Droid Eris. and I can not sync my phone to my computer. i have windows 7. i just dl the HTC Sync Update 2.0.25 for DROID ERIS | 03.03.2010. it still tells me that it cant find drivers. and my computer doesn't even recognize the phone to be able to pull the pictures off my phone. Can someone help me please! when i plug my phone into my computer it does charge but thats all : (

Make sure you have mounted the phone when you plug it into the pc.

are you trying to sync for the pupose of outlook. The person on that thread was and I overlooked that. I just put directions how to mount.
