CAPTCHA every time I launch browser

When the browser is on the google homepage every time I launch the browser it comes up with this captcha thing. Underneath it says:

Our Systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests and not a robot.

This just started happening over the weekend. Anybody else getting this? What's going on and how do I make it stop. It takes 4 or 5 tries to get it to recognize that I've put int he letters it says. It's getting so annoying.

I received the same message this past weekend. I answered/entered the required phrase and it passed me to the browser. I've not received the message since.

I enter the phrase too, but every time I launch it, it comes back. For whatever reason it doesn't accept the first response. Last time it took 6 tries to get it to recognize I typed what was in the box.

Thanks for the tip! I did a quick read on Captcha. Interesting stuff but I wonder what caused mine to lock.

Mike
