Dashboard mounted or Windshield .
Notice any difference with Signal on dash as opposed to windshield?

I have my x mounted near my shifter, haven't noticed any difference in signal

Only tried last night,, it was raining and quite miserable out,, mounted on dash GPS would lose signal, I am using Carhome.

It was crappy out though hopefully that was the problem because I like it a little closer and if it would drop it wouldn't be as bad as from the windshield,,in my truck anyway

Ahhh, Jeep.... No top, no doors, nothing to block the signal!
