Using the desktop cradle charger, it will except a wall charger of any kind (all that I've tried), and a mobile charger as well. It will even except those neat little AA battery chargers. But using the same USB cord without the desktop cradle, it will not charge from the computer, vehicle, or the neat little AA battery chargers. Even with it set to "charge only" in the USB setting. Have not tried a solar charger in either. I'm thinking that the phone senses a pulsating D.C. from wall charger , and for some reason won't work with smooth filtered DC.
