There is an impressive new product being developed by a company called Teknision. It is an adaptive and customizable home screen for Android Tablets and they call it Chameleon. The product concept looks pretty impressive, and could definitely be worth it when it is finally finished. At the moment, the company is trying to get funding through the online entrepreneurial website, KickStarter. If you pledge $5 bucks or more they will put you on their list to try it out when they finish it. Here's just a few things it is capable of.

  • Chameleon helps you do things faster, bringing the most relevant information and apps up front. So you don't have to dig around.
  • Chameleon is super easy to customize. You can quickly set up Home Screens, Widgets, and App Trays, all with a few gestures.
  • Chameleon is integrated with Android. We kept what was working and improved the rest. The result is an Android Tablet experience that is as unique as you are.

Awesome. I can't wait to get ahold of this.

DROID RAZR MAXXAMIZED!!!

Wrong....

FYI. Company making this is Teknision. Insert Coin is a section of Engadget that "look at an exciting new tech project that requires funding before it can hit production".

Oops... I buggered that one up good! Thanks for the heads up.

Very cool concept. Everything that Windows Mobile live tiles should have been but failed to realized. Customizable, functional, and just looks darn good.
