change boot screen and animation

I want to change the boot screen and animation of my phone. its colors x45. android 4.2.2 and is rooted. please answer me briefly with genuine stepwise procedures.

Go to display setting and check the option to select wallpaper.

There's always a chance something could go wrong. I'd make a backup in recovery before modifying anything, just to be safe
