Is it possible to change the e-mail address associated with my phone account and get all the contacts and apps and everything to go with the new e-mail address? How do I go about it? I've rummaged around on the phone and don't see a way. Thanks in advance.

There are apps that can save all the mail contacts, then import them again when you change phones or account. Assuming you're talking about your Google E-Mail address you're biggest problem could be the apps you have installed. It is possible to have 2 Google accounts assoicated with the phone but a name change could be an issue.

you could not delete google account associated with your android phone. backup your data and restore your data is the only way.
