Change gmail account - backup stuff

Don't know if this the best place to ask this. I want to change the gmail account linked to my droid but I don't want to have to start from scratch reloading apps, etc. Is there a good (better? Best?) App to backup all my apps, sms list, settings, etc?

Paid apps are tied to the gmail account they were purchased with.
You will need to repurchase the apps.
