Change Icons in HTC Theme

Hi, I've tried Open Home and aHome and I really found that I like the email widget in the stock theme. So, my question is this, is there away to change icons in the stock theme? or is there an email widget like the htc email (pop email, not gmail) widget that I can use for open home?
