Change soft keyboard on slideout?

Is there any current way to have the soft keyboard change automatically when you slide out the hardware keyboard?

Well I use Swype in portrait.
When I slide out the keyboard I would like to switch to Swiftkeys.
Is there a setting that does that? I don't believe Tasker can.
