Changing audible tone for calendar reminder

I love the gmail calendar for my daily reminders other than it won't seem to allow me to change the audible tone reminder from what I currently have for my general alert reminder. I don't want my text message alert tone to be the same as my calendar reminder tone and it looks as though I don't have a choice...is there another calendar application that will alllow me to do this? Your help is appreciated!

I have a Droid so my experience may be different. Open the calendar app, tap menu, tap more, tap settings, set alerts and select ringtones.
