changing ID Tags

I can download a song with Imusic, but then the ID tag is what the default music player reads on the droid.

So If I want to change the name of the song by physically renaming it... the music player doesn't recognize the change.

I can put the song on my computer and read it with winamp and change the id tag with that.. but how can I do it just with the Droid?

What app will allow changing of ID tags?

In the marketplace there is an app called "Itag" I used that to edit tags directly on the Droid. Search for it you should be able to find it

Just last night, I transferred all my songs to my laptop and opened each and every one with winamp and unticked all the ID tags.
I then transferred them back to my Droid.

Now when I open my music player its not so crazy as many of my songs were ripped off of current CDs and didnt have ID tags at all, so it was crazy trying to get them all in one spot without being scattered all over the place with some showing albums, artist, etc while others not.

Now that the ID tag is stripped, they all fall in the directory I choose and much more organized.
I dont need to know all that other stuff and if I only want certain songs, Ill just make playlist.

"however".. when I download new songs, they will have an ID tag.
Do I really have to remember to transfer them to my computer to strip the ID tag and transfer it back or is there an app that can do this?

Too bad there is not a winamp app... not at least one I can find as of yet.
I found one for pocket PC, but nothing for android based systems.

I hate it when I answer my own questions.. but apparently no one else could since this questions has been out for a while.

MP3tagger pro and I-tag and rock'n'droid seems to do the trick.
