Changing sd cards?

I have a 16 gig sd card now and I want to get a 32 gig card for my razr maxx. Can I just copy everything onto my computer and then just put it on the new card or do I have to do anything else? I wanted to get a 64 gig card but the phone specs say it on supports up to 32 gigs.

That should work just fine.

Make sure you don't get an "ultra" or class 10 card. Several of us have had issues with high speed card and the Razr/Maxx doesn't seem to do well with them. Other than that copying the contents of the old card to the computer and then to the new card has worked great for me in the past. The only thing in my case that didnt work was the CoPilot maps which I had to redowload. I guess that had to do with a licensing issue...

Good thing you mentioned that, I was looking at the ultra class 10 card. Any particular brand I should be looking for?

I have been using a Samsung Class VI 32Gb card in my Razr Maxx for a little over a month and it has been working great.

Stick with a major brand from a reputable source and you'll probably be just fine.

I've got a regular class 10 samsung 32gb in my d4 (same as the maxx) and it works flawlessly. I've got a class 10 samsung Ultra 32gb coming soon for another d4 and will report back. If it doesn't work there then it may get booted to the tab2.

64 GB micro SD card with JB?

Have you had success with a 64 GB card in Razr Maxx with JB? Sometimes there's a delay in opening apps etc. I thought it was the JB OS but perhaps it's the SanDisk Ultra 64 GB card? :happy3:
