Changing text size

How do you enlarge the text size on the Droid 2?

I am asking this for the future FIL, both of us got a Droid 2 for Christmas, and he is having a hard time with the small text, even with his reading glasses.

Spare Parts, I think it is an app......not sure though. And I believe it requires root. If you root you may be able to download it from the market, im rooted and running squidlys ROM.....I think it might have been included in the ROM that's why I have it. The "app" accesses a hidden options menu, font size is one of the options in it.
