Changing the voice input timeout delay?

Is there any way to change the timeout settings for voice input? Here's what I mean, I go to "Voice Search" and begin saying what I want it to search for, but if I delay to long in between words, it will (time out) think I am done and start the search. It is especially troublesome when trying to reply to a text using voice because unless I say my sentence all in one breath, it will cut me off.

So is there a way to add breathing time when using the voice input?

I know exactly what you are saying and I wish it gave you a little bit more time too but I don't think there's any sort of settings you can change for it, at least not on my Droid 3 anyways which I'm sure is pretty similar if not identical to the Bionic software wise.

Yeah, sure would be nice if someone knew something. But I guess with all the posts out there about stupid updates and OTAs (that who cares when they happen because they are going to happen), it is hard to get any attention with a real question. :P
