Charges Fast?

Is it just me or does the Maxx HD charge pretty fast? When I say fast, I mean just as fast as other phones that have smaller batteries (mAhs). I'm using the Motorola plug and cable that came with it of course. I remember Jon Rettinger (I think) that said it takes a long time to charge the original Razr Maxx because it was such a bigger battery than usual.

They did increase the output on the stock charger.
1150 ma

I think most of my other chargers are around 500 ma

This might be a stupid question but does it matter if I don't use the USB cord that came with the phone as long as I use the wall plug provided? USB cord that came with the phone is too short.

I swapped mine out for a longer cord and have no issues.

So if the output is 5.1 V @ 1150 ma. That should be 5.87 watts.

wow. nice job for motorola with nice accessories too! now the question is what harm, if any, does it do to the batter or phone?
