Charging help ASAP

I don't know what is wrong with my phone, or battery. I can't get it to charge, and when I try, I get a ! over the battery symbol. When I plug in my phone, its like the connection isn't right. It takes hours for it to finally get enough charge to actually use. How do I fix this?

Two things. First, are you plugged into the wall? Second, are you using the charger your phone came with. Those two things can really do some funky things.

Yes to both. I've tried other Chargers, and even my car charger. Nothing.

I've tried removing it and cleaning it. I have new batteries on order. I hope they work better.

Turns out my charging port was broken. They sent me a new one.

Most of the problems I've had Verizon can fix. Call 611 and ask for technical support.
