Charging Led

I have seen a lot of posts about notification led problems. What about a charging led indicator. I got my bionic in the mail, plugged it in, no charge led (typically orange when its plugged in on previous models) Went to the store. They looked at all there bionic floor models, no charge indicator.

They then opened up 3 brand new ones, same thing. We both assumed this is the way the bionic is.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is a menu option to turn it on? a free app?

There is no charging LED, thank god. It was annoying on the TB. Couldn't tell when a notification came in.

The OG Droid had one right next to the USB connector. It was kind of nice, exspecially when your device is close to 2 years old and didn't always make contact.
