I have a Droid 3 disassembled for a screen replacement. Voltmeter shows 2.75 volts when measured on the battery terminals. Battery says it is a 3.7 volt battery. I measured at the outer 2 terminals of the battery. Then I plugged a standard 5v charging cable into the mother board and measured the voltage at the prongs which contact the battery during normal operation. I also measured approximately 2.75 volts. Question is should not this voltage be higher?
