chomp/handcent question

im sure im just missing something, but i got handcent and chomp to try and compare on moto droid. when i set them all to default and everything else set up ,i still get 2 identical msgs: one in droids oem sms and one in handcent or chomp.tried them both and same result. is there a way to make only chomp or handcent to go off when i get a txt/pic?

If i understand your question correctly, go into the default messaging app and turn off notifications.
