chompSMS notifications

I downloaded chompSMS to customize the way my text messaging looked. I like the app, and I have it set as my default message program...the only problem is I get two updates when I get text: one from the stock message system, and one from chomp. Anyway I can eliminate one of them?

Not sure how to eliminate the one from Chomp, since I use Handcent, but the stock notification can be removed by:

Messaging < Settings < Uncheck Notifications
