class 10 sd

Does any one know if the droid can support a class 10 microsd. I've searched everywhere with no avail. And will it render any performance gains ?

sorry i didnt see that thread in my search. you got alot of response in there but no one said they had one or tried it and arn't we going to get apps2sd befor to long and then it will realy help correct.

Really help performance? Possibly, if the Droid can actually take advantage of class 10 and if access to memory is really the bottleneck that you're experiencing.

I have ordered a class 6-8gb from newegg today just to see for my self. ill post my results in a few days when i receive it..

well after playing with the class 6 sd card for a little bit i noticed what was to be expected. file transfer speed from pc to sd increased (of course), thumbing through picture gallery the rendering of pics was much faster, browsing through my music i noticed that skipping throw to the middle of a song seemed instantaneous. other than that i dont notice much difference even in backing up and loading different roms(sprecovery). luckily i needed a sd for my camera so i'm not at a loss but i would say save yourself the $$ and wait for apps2sd to see if we need a higher class sdcard .
