Clearing adobe files

My hubby has an incredible & downloads pdf files through adobe for work. when you open adobe it shows all the files he's downloaded but deleting them isn't an option. He downloaded oi file manager to see if it was saved in his
Sd card but we didn't see then in there.....any ideas how to delete those files?

I use astro for my file manager and it let's me see all my pdf files on the SD card, they are either in the Adobe folder or in the download folder.

i use ezpdf reader, you can hard press to delete files

I have the CamScanner app, which is very useful. A side benefit is that it lets you read and erase .pdf files.
