clearing old txt messages

i was looking at a txt message from one contact and i have over 200 messages from that contact. does anybody know how to clear old messages from that contact w/o deleting the whole txt. or is there a setting somewhere on the phone to save only about 100 message and delete everything after that.

my strom use to do this, as new txt come in from that contact it would delete the top message

on message setting u should be able to change how many messages it saves preset to 200 i belive

if you longpress on a specific message you can select delete

Its doesn't have a preset to save and in the messages setting there is no setting that let's u delete old messages automatically
