Clicking sound when i type has disappeared

I like the clicking sound when I hit the screen choices, or am typing.

It works intermittently, but again is now just vibrating, but no click.

All the boxes are checked allowing sound for the keyboard and screen selections.

Any suggestions?

I know that you have the droid but check to see if any updates are out for it or if you have done any mods to it.
I have the incredible and the first ota update arrived today. I noticed the same thing, My issue is that it randomly gets louder and then softer even with the volume all the way up

Thanks, my Droid is rooted, and I've done multiple continuous new/ different ROMS. Not sure why the sound is again off.
