Guess this means it isn't true. :frown:
From what I can gather the dinc has all the requirements... maybe the devs have just moved on to bigger and better phones...
Yeah. Luckily i'm only attached until April. I usually go thru phones pretty quick but amazingly, i've had this phone for 23 months. Changing the ROM really helps. I'm on 4.0.3 now but i'm getting kind of bored with it. CM7 was my favorite / most reliable by far...
there is one it's a pre alpha version with a lot of bugs. The camera, notification led and screen rotation don't work. The backlight setting crash when you try to enter the menu and on mine the time isn't always correct if you are using network provided values. But if you are still interested in trying it here is the link: [ROM][Kang] CyanogenMod 9 for the Droid Incredible (Pre-Alpha) [3/21/12] - xda-developers
Google "aokp Droid incredible"
I feel this is a daily driver camera works but a few video problems. Worth trying IMO.

Developer Invisiblek has some very stable nightlies of CM9 that he's putting out. I'm running 1713 right now and besides the video camera, which hasn't been ironed out yet, it works perfectly and very smooth.
