My guess is that they're trying to tie us in to the emergency broadcast system, at least passively. Probably get amber, silver alerts, etc., based on location via free (?? Better be!!) SMS text message.

I don't know Dude...it might be the best thing that ever happen to you. Especially if the tornado is baring down on your home.
