computer and phone linked app??

Hopefully something has came up now, i would love to pay for this kind of app.

an app that not only receives text messages while connected through USB but also allows you to reply to text massages from your computer, or laptop.

theres a tether app which does this but then you have to be tethered in order to use this feature. I dont need internet and it i do turn this feature on then i cant really charge my phone at the same pace. so its a waste of money to buy the app at full price to use a small feature.

anyone seen something more directed to this concept? No way i have the brain to create an app, let a lone this specific one lol but ill pay for one if its out there!

It's not an app but Google Voice will do this. You don't even need the device which has been handy for the times I've left my phone at home. You just need an internet-connected PC to access the GV site.
