Confused about memory??

Just got rezound yesterday, and noticed my memory is partitioned into 3 sections : sd card, phone storage, and internal storage. I bought the phone and it came with a 16gb sd card, in addition to the 16gb on the phone. So where is it all??? This is what my phone storage reads :

Sd card : none.
Phone storage : 10.5gb
Internal storage : 2.01

Obviously I'm missing something...right?

you think that's confusing mine says SD card total space 15GB avail space 15 GB /phone storagetotal space 10.5GB avail space 10.02 GB internal avail space 2.1 GB its like my phone storage is actually my sd card and internal is my phone storage so how do I use the 15GB avail on SD card?Very confusing.

Sd card : should say 16GB or whatever it is after formatting(make sure the card is seated)
Phone storage : 10.5gb (internal SD partition)
Internal storage : 2.01 (internal SD partition)

Ah ha! That's what I suspected! Now it makes sense. OK I'll have to try reseating the card then. Thanks!
