I had a folder in my SD card that i named "..ABC" to keep it hidden. i cut and paste that folder from SD card to internal memory through the cell and now when i try to open any of those images, it just displays "Cannot Generate Thumbnail", Please guide me i really need to get those images back. I even tried to move it back to SD card but no luck. When i try to open them in PC i get a message saying the file is empty.

Welcome to the Forum @Sohaib .

To move folders you should use an app like ES File Explorer or File manager. Both have free editions on the Play Store.
Try one and see if you can locate the original folder.

If you want media in a folder to not appear in Gallery, (as an example), create an empty file in that folder called .nomedia (there is a period proceeding the name), and use ES File Explorer as Jeffrey suggested.

Actually i want to regain access to those files that are now blank. Will the above mentioned apps help me recover them?

Thumbnails are just smaller versions of the real thing. If you use ES File Explorer, you will need to enable "Show hidden files" under Display settings.

Thumbnails are not generated because you specified that the folder be hidden. Apps like Gallery or Photos will not see them or generate thumbnails for those files in the folder. Remove the "." from the name will solve this.
